What’s Your Action Plan to Start a Blog?
As mentioned in my previous post I draw up a plan for me to start my new blog. This action plan is recommended in the eBook “Cash Pulling Blog Tactic Revealed” by Dave Issacs and Aaron Leighton.
Here is my action plan that I have adapted for my blogging journey.
1. Join the Warrior Forum and bloggerforum.com and spend at least an hour each day.
2. Form a knowledge base about blogging. Organize the knowledge base into blog posts and give each post an interesting title.
3. Set up my new WordPress blog. Customize the blog fully before adding any posts.
a. Find a theme that suits my blog
b. Configures all essential plug-ins
c. Configures all settings
4. (Optional) Research for any OTO offers and create the OTO page using resell rights materials and download pages and check to make sure these pages work properly
5. Create the squeeze page for my opt-in box and configured my Aweber opt-in list.
6. Start posting all the posts that I have prepared and staggered the date so that they appear in successive days.
7. Start driving traffic to my blog via
a. Forum marketing
b. Article Marketing
c. Social Media Marketing
d. Traffic Exchange marketing
e. Safelist Marketing
8. Set a schedule and assign myself daily tasks
9. Review my newsletter subscription related to my topic. Focus only reading emails from these newsletters.
10. Post at least one product review and at least one “how to” article a week to my blog
11. Periodically check the opt-in rate for my free gift / bonus and if it less than 5%, try another incentive or tag line.
I am committed to stick to this action plan and I believe in myself that I will make money and I will be a successful blog marketer.
